Collect blood samples from patients using venipuncture and fingersticks in compliance with the orders, and allocate the samples to the correct department. Collection of random urine samples, 24 hour urine samples, label each sample accurately, and transport them to the laboratory for analysis.
Label and organize blood samples for testing, and follow proper procedures for specimen handling and processing in compliance with COLA, CLIA and all governing bodies. Perform basic laboratory tests such as glucose levels and complete blood counts, and understand the sample requirements for the in house lab.

Initiated and updated all of the office patient information to reflect the most recent procedures for specimen collection and created patient handouts to explain the steps for the 24 hour urine test, salivary cortisol test, and dexamethasome supression tests.
