As a customer service representative, I’m responsible for ensuring an excellent level of customer service to all Ross internal customers. As a customer service representative, I’m expected to provide swift responses to all inquiries from our merchants, transportation, stores, and allocation partners regarding merchandise being processed in the distribution center.
I also provide weekly and monthly reports to applicable partners. Daily update and distribution of all aged inquiries to operation partners.
I utilize resources in other departments when information is not obtainable. And maintain inquiry tracker in the purchase order call outs maintenance table to make sure all order is communicated and sent the DC once the orders ready to ship when it falls on my week in rotation.
I something must reach out to transportation for help to get the buyers merchandise orders shipped. I also at times I work with freight pay when there are shortages with orders, by running reports to see when the shipment will get shipped or locate the shipment after it has been shipped,
These responsibilities cover all the distribution center on first shift. I’m currently work with Microsoft excel and Microsoft word.

Then I moved to wave planner which was planning orders to get prepared to pick to send out warehouse and to stores. I also had to print out labels for containers so the pickers could put on cartons being picked and going out of the warehouse.
