2002 – 2022 Cardinal Healthcare, Greenwood SC (aka Tyco Healthcare, Covidien, Medtronic) Manufacturer / Distributor of Disposable Health Care Products Supervisor Logistics Department – Utilized previous experiences to assist with the hiring, training and increased safety awareness for all logistics employees. In addition, developed new warehouse layout plans, upgraded physical inventory processes and increased communications between manufacturing and logistics to meet Customer expectations:
• Created original or updated detailed procedures for all shipping, and receiving tasks.
• Original Safety Committee Supervisor.

Retail Distributor servicing 1200+ stores in 12 states Transportation Manager - Directed all activities to support 1M square foot distribution center, delivering weekly to 1200+ retail stores. Responsibilities included the management of inbound and outbound operations, switcher, shuttle and delivery drivers and overseeing the maintenance of a 600+ trailer pool:
• Maintained emphasis on driver safety awareness, resulting in no major driver preventable accidents during a 6-year period.
• Reduced driver turnover by implementing a fast track hiring system and a continuous emphasis on driver friendly relations.
• Planned and implemented the startup of a trailer maintenance repair operation.
• Increased on-time delivery to retail stores from less than 70% to consistently in excess of 98%.
• Directed 5 supervisors / managers supporting 15 office associates, 20 FD drivers and 6 maintenance personnel.
