(Forklift, Material Handling, Shipping & Receiving) ***.****@*****.***
Forklift / Warehousing Transport Equipment used:
1. Forklift (seated), models by: Crown, Toyota, Yale)
Operated to load and unload freight trailers on dock,
to meet freight transport schedules (carrier’s and ours).
This included engaging with drivers, for proper transfer/receipt of paperwork
(packing lists, barcode freight scans, and bills-of-lading when needed).
This slso included resolving occasional load-weight distribution issues
within docked trailer, and any incidental trailer-space ('blowout') issues,
where part of a shipment would need to be redistributed (or rescheduled)
within the visiting carrier's driver network.
Forklift was also used to stage/prep freight, for quicker load,
upon trailer arrival at dock, to meet load schedules.
Additionally used forklift for put-away of palleted stock,
as well as for put-away of modular, 'pegged'/stackable cage-containers.
Auto-parts stock was also put-away by hand/lifting of stackable totes,
on our facility’s roller rack systems.
2. Sideloader (standing-operated lift vehicle), by HUBTEX
Operated for retrieving and putting away metal-material stock,
in formats including:
* bar-grating (2' to 3' widths, by 20' to 24' lengths), and
* sheeting (wire cloth, palleted bales, 3' & 4' widths, by 8' & 10' lengths)
Sideloader was operated in railed aisles; and
to travel throughout warehouse.
Stock was put away in 40-ft rack/aisle sytem,
with racks of various widths and heights,
based on stock dimension requirements.
