OBJECTIVE: Graduating soon and highly motivated, I am a student at Sowela Community College. Currently pursuing my Associates in Business Administration with a concentration in Hospitality Management. I am outgoing and committed to guest service and satisfaction.
QUALIFICATION: My senior year of high school, I achieved my Certified Nursing Assistants License. Dedicated and passionate about medicine, I was able to achieve many accomplishments from my experience in the Air Force where I was an Aerospace Medical Technician. I achieved many certificates and licenses such as my Practical Nursing Technology degree through the Community College of the Air Force CCAF. Including my National Registry of Emergency Medical Technician NREMT and even Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization Course where I expanded my skills.
After the Air Force I was able to continue back to where I left off working for L’auberge Casino Resort, a legendary company. It has enriched me since 2009 with superior guest service skills. While being a Cocktail Server I was certified in Sure Sell Now, a training certificate to become responsible alcohol server certified. In 2019 I was selected to kick off an advertisement called “I Am Legendary” and a huge honor by the Marketing Team and selected by the General Manager of the property Michael Pendergast. While working there I made my way through many departments, eventually becoming a Table Games Dealer and becoming state certified by the State Gaming License Board. Ultimately moving my way up to becoming a Dual-Rate Floor Supervisor where I was taught superior supervisory skills.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: While attending Sowela I have achieved some new Professional Certifications including American Hotel & Lodging Association, AHLA Certified Guest Service Professional. Another course I will have completed by the end of the spring semester is my course in Resort Operations, a course teaching not only the business administration side of how a resort is ran but also amazing menagerie skills.
