●Senior Site Coordinator for LSS/Meals on Wheels Local Program in Roseau, MN - Engaging with diners, home-delivered clients and volunteers to promote a welcoming and inviting atmosphere for a great conversation and a hot nutritious meal to go along with the laughter. Responsibilities include keeping organized files to fulfill the government's requirements for all management paperwork and also Lutheran Social Services requirements, organizing up to three volunteers daily, overseeing that the kitchen is following the correct menu and the meals are within required temps. Also to keep on time for delivery to go out and our inhouse dining that is prepared for our diners to come in for a real dining experience.
● Certified Nursing Assistant - Currently licensed in MN #10822200 and have acquired over 5 Years of Experience caring for the elderly in nursing home environments as well as with mentally/physically handicapped adults in a home setting. MN Dept. of Human Resources completed and cleared my background Study which is required for my position on June 27, 2024.
● Development and Caregiver for Challenged Adults - Escort persons served out to eat/movies/fairs/parades and other events to interact with others outside their place of residence. Last year during the fair one of my person’s served got to dance with the “Robot Man.” It was a memorable moment for the all of us as a few other children joined in.
● Focussed and Self Disciplined - Worked out of my home part time, Freelanced welding and testing boiler stoves; I was paid by quality and quantity. Certified in gas metal arc welding and forklift driving prior and during freelance period. Received MSSC Production Technician Safety Award for Manufacturing Skills andAssesment in 2006. MSSC Manufacturing Principles, Machine Operation, Organization Communication and Blueprint Reading and Comprehension Academic Credits.
●Acknowledgement and Trained for Portion and Cost Control Attributes - Prep and Cook proportioned dietary menus and utilize cost saving avenues. Started as a youngster at my grandparents J&J Drive-In located in Lake Bronson, MN and other mom n pop restaurants. LifeCare hospital kitchen as a cook, and currently still prepping/cooking part-time in the Lutheran Social Services kitchen for the Meals on Wheels Program and at Legend’s Bar & Grill as chef for about 10 years. Food Service Certified from MN Dept. of Health for over 10 years continuously prior to Covid.

●Direct Support Provider - Day-to-day assistance of persons served who have intellectual and developmental disabilities with various living activities such as bathing, eating, administering medications, hygiene and grooming.
●Quality Control Management - Achievement in ASI DataMyte, Romer Arm and 1st Article Responsibilities. Responsible for the receivable raw materials to the finished product being shipped to our clients. Engineered with Tool n Die Engineers and CAD Specialists to eliminate errors within our business and created Go and No-Go Fixtures to help eliminate errors and/or keep a tighter tolerance with our vendors but also to help with in-house production as well.
●CPR/AED Certified - Have been certified for over 5 years and experience has given me Swift and Confident Reaction in Emergency Situations. Serving as a CNA I have had a variety of situations in which you rely on your training to naturally let you take control and assess and react effectively.
● Retired Certified Welder - Career for 20+ years, Polaris for 4 +years and then was offered an opportunity to create the Machinewell Welding Dept. Began from the hallways of the raw material area to over a 10,000 square foot welding facility which is still manufacturing today.
●Courses and Experience in Management, Quality, Romer Arm, Mathematical Dimensions & Safety - I was a Quality Control Manager overseeing components created on the CNC machines, welded products and fabricated objects. I inspected a variety of items to insure that the items were within print specifications and no visual defects; from raw material arrival to finished machined, welded and fabricated components.
●Leadership Skills - I have experience in training new employees in all of my past and current careers. I can deliver and complete my daily agendas and provide a comfortable team-style work atmosphere. I work with volunteers on a daily basis and this has been a great way to meet people in our community and broaden your vision to others' input and knowledge. Nominated for LSS Spirit Award, Award is being hosted in St. Cloud on August 15th this is a Nation Wide Award through the entire Lutheran Social Services Organization for going up and beyond your daily duties.
●Dependable and Open Schedule - Excellent work attendance and am able to have a flexible schedule. I am looking for a day position to be straight forward. I obtain a current driver’s license, current insurance and have reliable means of transportation.
●Work Well with Others - Effectively communicate with staff and volunteers with a positive influence to help them understand that this is a team effort. Teamwork is very important to me. Listening and being heard is a virtue for an on-going team environment.

This provides a nutritious meal to those in our area that may not have the opportunity for a daily hot meal. We rely on volunteers to make this program possible and we serve an average of 40 meals to our local residents.
