Participated as unit and facility safety officer during two AARMS inspections that were administered by army aviation (“big army”) in compliance with ARMY REGULATIONS; AR 95-1, AR 385-10, AR 750-1 and others.
The goal by the inspection team was to determine how the aviation program, with respect to said regulations, was being administered. During these inspections, a careful review was made of the program that I oversaw and administered to determine compliance and effectiveness. Although there was room to improve, the program passed the test of inspection.
As an Aviation Safety Officer, I administered the commander’s safety program. Insuring compliance of the program was a top priority in that prevention of accidents and safety related occurrences would be the result. One aspect vital to the function of an Aviation Safety program is to maintain a unit hazard log. At safety committee meetings, issues of safety are addressed and appropriate “action officers” are assigned to new issues as well as held accountable for ongoing ones. The HAZCOM list is then updated by the Aviation Safety Officer. In civilian operations I administered a safety program for TEMSCO Helicopters INC and oversaw the safety program for the other 3
helicopter companies owned be the same holding group as TEMSCO. North Star Trekking and Coastal Helicopters were the other two companies.
Regular tests to each company’s Emergency Response Plan were conducted. In these cases, only the pilot and some key personnel had advanced warning. The ground staff as well as company dispatchers had to make appropriate notifications. Following an easy-to-read document was key to a successful and timely outcome. Being a part of safety sensitive occurrences would allow me to be a part of a no-notice safety audit as well. During one such occasion it was determined that the rotors would not be slowed to idle if the wind was +30 KTS on a ridgeline. The occurrence that led to this determination was a helicopter being lifted and overturned by high velocity wind while at ground idle, before the pilot could react appropriately.
As an EMS / HAA lead pilot I have acted as the base safety officer which includes an audit of safety related items such as the hazardous materials and fire extinguishers at the base. Safety of operations and the helicopter assigned were a part of a regular audit. During my time with PHI Air Med, I reported to the Chief Pilot as well as the Director of Safety.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Geo-Vision Air Services LLC Owner/Operator
5/22/20-Present
I am a licensed drone (sUAS) operator. Using Photogrammetry and technology Geo-Vision Air Services provides an outstanding service to customers taking pictures from an aerial perspective. With multi-copter drones I provide RGB and IR stills or video. Fixed Wing UAVs are capable of longer endurance and coverage, equipped with multiple sensors and other features EO/ISR or Mapping. We offer multi-rotor services. However, our specialty is in long endurance, long range fixed wing drones that operate with the support of a ground trailer GCS / C2 trailer.
From 2021-2023 I have responded to multiple RFI, RFP, or SBIR Grants to the DOC and DOD. I have not been awarded yet and for this reason, I am seeking employment.
I intend to retain this SBC and operate in partnership with an innovation
/aircraft manufacturing company. Work efforts are primarily in response to federal solicitations. I am interested in this position because I need to produce regular cashflow and will give it the full attention and effort that it requires. The experience that marketing, operations, and big day to day functions of the business has given me, has provided invaluable experience and knowledge.
We are cage code 9AX04. In 2023 I obtained the SDVOSB certification. We are currently operating under MNDAs with AUDSEA, INC, SyborTech, INC, Mountain Air Helicopters and the University of Alaska, Fairbanks

Safe transport of medical staff and patients using my expert aeronautical decision making and keen skills as an aviator. I also managed the pilot staff, acting as a liaison between pilots, management, and medical staff. Management of the safety program at the base was also my responsibility. Ensuring safe function of fueling and storage, hazardous materials, security, maintenance practices and flight operations. I reported to the DO, CP, and the Director of Safety. The reason for my departure was that I was diagnosed with a brain tumor. It was benign and after 3 surgeries and radiation treatments, I am alive and well. During my recovery and radiation treatments, I started Geo-Vision Air. I formed the business after only the first surgery, thinking that a follow-on surgery would take place much later. In fact, two more surgeries were needed in 2020, after Geo-Vision Air Services was formed. In 2021 Radiation therapy was prescribed and negatively affected about 18 months of productivity as I tried to grow the SBC. Trans Aero Helicopters Pilot, Helicopter

Worked FROM: Custer, SD, Winnemucca, NV, Clifton, TX, MT 03/15/2016-12/01/17
Safe transport of medical staff and patients using my expert aeronautical decision making and keen skills as an aviator. I served the USFS in the Black Hills SD during the fire season flying the AS350B3 (Dual HYD). The Black Hills Helitack was an Initial Attack, Exclusive use contract that captures type 3 helicopter operations conducted in support of wild land fires. As PIC of a single engine light helicopter, I was responsible for preflight, weather and fuel planning, weight and balance.
When dispatched, a USFS radio operator contacted the unit’s leadership or Helicopter Manager for a go/no-go decision. As the assigned pilot in command, I was the final authority on flight. Upon starting the engine, all personnel and equipment was loaded. After the fire source was located, personnel were deployed to confined areas usually. The HC assisted me in finding a water source. Once identified we landed and employed the Bambi Bucket for water drop via 50-200’ longline. Prior to water drop, I communicated with ground elements. Prior to operations, a fire report and evaluation was passed to the regional operations center that dispatched our operation. In the winter months I was assigned to NV or TX to fly the company’s EMS (HAA) program in the AS350B2 B3 or A119.

Parachute Rigger,
Infantry fire team leader
BASED/WORKED FROM: Anchorage, Juneau, Ketchikan, AK 1996-2009
Enlisted, I packed parachutes for a Long Rage Surveillance Detachment or LRSD. Later I became an infantry team leader under a different unit. Then, in 2002 I was accepted into the Army’s Aviation ranks as a CWO Cadet and later as a UH-60 Blackhawk pilot. My time was gained in the Alaska Army National Guard until I was deployed to Iraq as an aviator in 2005 where I was a 1/207th AVN BN asset that augmented the 101st, 2 BN AVN as well as the 3rd ACR and others. The mission in Iraq was to fly scheduled routes primarily. On occasion there were tactical missions to support infiltration and / or exfiltration of units on the ground who would search for items, kick down doors, or shoot the enemy in the face. There was a mission to the Syrian Border on one occasion where a multitude of thunderstorms surrounded our two ship return to Q-West 30 SM South of Mosul. Running east to west was Mt. Sinjar which tapered off into Syria. One might suggest that accurate reading was not conducted of the 7
weather briefing. According to Airforce weather we would be home playing a rousing game of 5 card stud or Texas hold em when the weather deteriorated so, we went.
Short of fuel and with a lack of instrument approaches, we continued to look for a way home. The 8000’ MSA we climbed to, caused our APR 139 to emit warnings of “missile lock” from Syria. AAOF#3
