As an assistant manager at Arby’s, I ensure that all orders are accurate and that my team and I work together in a fun and fast paced environment to make it right for our guests. Duties as a manager includes prep, opening and/or closing the store (or both if ever needed), delegating tasks to team members and shift managers and ensuring the store stays nice and clean, handling money and ensuring big bills are authentic, inventory, and basic computer skills for entering information. One main task is also making sure our store meets our sales and labor goal and cutting hours when and as/if needed and not overspending on our budget for other products within the store. I also make the weekly schedule based off of our weekly projected sales and labor for the following week, along as assisting the general manager in other tasks as needed.

At Windsong, I worked as a full time server and during events I worked as the bev-cart bartender. We took orders for both golf and non-golf members and even took it out to the course when needed. We helped set up with important events whether it was golf tournaments, wedding, or charity related. Other tasks may have included cleaning, polishing dishes/cups, setting up coffee and sweets station, get the fire started in the fireside room, set up and clean tables, running bottles of alcohol from cooler/storage area to the bar area, etc.

At Carlson Craft, I worked as a Customer Sercive Call Representative to help assist callers with all their needs. This ranged from answering simple questions to answering complex questions, transferring to the correct department, placing phone orders, creating quotes, calling UPS to check on a customer’s order if needed, ensuring invitations were etiquette and free of spelling errors before sending it on through to production, all while documenting every conversation in a timely manner. Everything that happened on call had to be recorded so we had to be efficient with multitasking, typing, leaving notes for other coworkers asking with following up depending on call situation. At Heppner’s, everyone worked together in a timely manner to ensure cars were getting cleaned and cleaned. We greeted customers as they came through and helped to answer any questions or suggest what car wash to get. We would then vacuum the cars and send it on through to the conveyor. I was a Link Crew Leader both my junior and senior year of high school. As a link crew leader, I was assigned to a group of other leaders. We had a certain amount of incoming freshmen we had to communicate with to make sure they were getting through their first year of high school with no troubles. We held events for our freshmen’s and even hung out outside of school for coffee and study groups. We helped with any questions they had from the moment they came to school for orientation to the moment they completed their freshmen year of high school.
