Senior Director of Operations - Custom Surface Prep Equipment

Leader responsible for organization results for project management, fabrication, quality, warranty, safety, distribution, and headquarters facilities. Direct reports from 5-20 during tenure.

Explosive custom equipment growth exceeded production capacity capabilities. Implementing project management streamlined production timeline and increased volume 71% within the first year. Manufacturing volume increased 20% year over year ensuring PMO success managing 60-80 custom EOM equipment and rebuild projects annually for customers. Project sized range for$10k to $8M.

Antiquated business systems hindered productivity within organization. Member of core implementation team responsible for project management, warranty, quality and service. Successfully transitioned data and aggressive implementation in 9 months.

Operations Manager - Industrial Pump Repair

Managed daily repair production, new business sector development, process efficiency, safety, CAPEX investments and technical training.

High OSHA recordable caused high Worker’s Compensation insurance premiums. Introduced new safety culture and program resulting in 60% fewer OSHA recordables, reducing premiums costs by 28%.

Market demand for lower cost nanocellulose led to research to achieve lower manufacturing cost. Involved in design and responsible for construction build of $4M process, online in 9 months and within capital investment budget. Result was a 70% production cost reduction compared to traditional nanocellulose manufacturing. (6 varieties).

Multiple S02 exposures onsite lead to heightened safety concerns for employees. Lead initiatives implementing safety controls reducing exposures from 5 to 1 annually.
