The ASRAA program provides lodging or a plane ticket for individuals who are at poverty level and are in Anchorage due to a medical emergency. Work closely with the Social Workers at the hospitals to screen individuals in crisis to see if they qualify for the program. Arranged plane tickets or temporary housing for the individuals. The medical transportation program provides a cab ride to individuals in poverty who need to get to a medical appointment in Anchorage. Regulated individuals to make sure that the guidelines of the program were followed, scheduled the rides for them, and monitor the cab company for consistent rates and correct locations.
