Reviews and approves ATO courseware that is taught by the Branch Chief at the School of Cadet Command (SOCC) Pre-command Course (PCC). Teaches the PCC in the absence of the Branch Chief. Responsible for conducting information or decision briefs on AT/FP/PS functions or events up to the Commanding General, Overall responsible for reviewing, revising, publishing, and executing the Commander’s Critical Information Requirements, Serious Incident Reports, the command All Hazard Plan and Continuity of Operations Plan. Provides pre and post-disaster updates to the chain of command as required. Reviews and approves for release to higher headquarters the Branch Chief’s recommended revisions to higher headquarters’ AT/FP and Physical Security policies and regulations. Provides oversight to the Branch Chief’s VTER and QPSM funding lines provided by TRA to ensure command AT/FP/PS programs are fully funded and properly obligated.

Operations Supervisor

●Plans and Operations, Provided leadership, guidance, training, and mentorship in order to meet the Commanding General’s intent in the execution of command-level activities, ceremonies, and special events including but not limited to change and assumption of command ceremonies; retirement ceremonies; organizational day; Continuity of Operation Plans (COOP); commander conferences; Provides the commanding officer information and decision briefs for command-level events. Monitors the scheduling, training, and application of the Salute Battery for Battalion-level ceremonies and special events. Maintains continuous liaison and coordination with other U S Army organizations for field training support.

●Taskings. Overall responsible for managing the command taskings, Requests for Information (RFI), and reclama. Analyzes taskers and RFIs issued from higher headquarters and provides guidance to the Tasking Branch Chief on the development and publishing of the command taskers to the HQs staff, brigades, and battalions. Reviews the Tasking Tracker Database to ensure taskings are properly logged and tracked until completion. Reviews the reclama written by the Branch Chief or submitted by staff directors and brigades for correct format, grammar, punctuation, and Army writing style prior to approving release to the Chief of Staff for approval. Forwards command reclama to higher headquarters and maintain direct coordinates with higher headquarters’ staff until the reclama is approved or denied. Ensures final statuses of reclama are recorded in the Tasker Tracker Database. Ensures the Branch Chief is prepared and rehearsed to brief the status of taskers during the higher HQ meetings, the GS/S3 teleconferences, the Chief of Staff meetings, and Command and Staff meetings as required. Establishes Tasking SOPs and protocols and ensures the Branch Chief adheres to these standards. Provides MDMP and tasking training to assigned personnel, Directors, and their staff to ensure consistency and adherence to tasking SOPs, protocols, and procedures. Coordinates directly with primary staff directors or their deputies to clarify tasking, RFI, or reclama requirements. Advises the Deputy G3 and the DCS, G3 on short-suspense taskings or late taskings that have the propensity to bring controversy to the command, staff, brigades, or battalions and provides a preferred course of action to execute.
