To Whom It May Concern:
I have been a Registered Nurse since 2002. I worked in the Coronary Care Unit for eight plus years and have taken care of complex patients including post cardiac surgical patients and trauma patients.
I have worked in the case management / utilization department. I began my career in case management as a twelve hour float position. In that position I was able to go to all areas within the hospital and assist in case management needs. During the night shift, I was required to ensure patients had safe and timely discharges. Many times I had to trouble shoot cases to ensure that the discharges were safe and timely. I also have experience as a case manager in the ICU and CCU departments. I was a case manager in the PCU department and during that time I dealt with many complex situations in regards to case management/discharge planning correlating with healthcare insurances and families.
I have worked as a Clinical Integration Specialist in the Emergency Room. I utilized InterQual and assist the Physicians and bedside RN’s with proper documentation to ensure InterQual is met and that the appropriate admission status is placed. In this role I utilize my critical care background, case management background and assist with social work/discharge needs in the Emergency Room. This role included focusing on preventing readmissions, prevention of social admissions, and facilitate discharge needs form the Emergency Room if deemed appropriate.
I am currently working in the System Command Center with Henry Ford Hospital facilitating bed placement throughout five hospitals. Triage and managing placement of the multiple ICU, ER, OR, Covid, and transfer requests.
I have experience as a Nurse House Supervisor contingent managing staffing and any hospital issues that may arise during the off shift.
During Covid I worked in the Outpatient Clinic infusing Monoclonal Antibodies. Multiple patients a day and multiple IVs a day.
Recently, for approximately a year I was working at an IV Infusion Center infusing IV therapies to patients such as the Myers Cocktail bag.
I am looking for a new career/opportunities where I can utilize the vast skillset that I have acquired throughout my nursing career and be challenged both professionally and personally.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Tricia Standley
