Toyota Auto Body of America - Stamping Department; Operated 100-ton Clearing Niagara hydraulic press, designated as press #2 in a 4-press conveyor belt system pressing sheet steel into various body panels for certain Toyota vehicles. Work performed required standing for the entire shift, and required moving a formed sheet of steel off a conveyor belt from the previous press, and into the correct position of press #2. Formed part was pressed yet again, to be ejected out the rear of the machine, and laid along same conveyor, to another press station. All parts to be stamped started off as a flat sheet of steel, to be progressively formed using multiple presses to form various auto body parts for Toyota Tacoma trucks, as well as various Tesla auto body parts. Employed to work third shift, and hired as temporary staff.
