PROJECTS:

FTD Migration Project: As part of the FTD re-platform project, there was a complete overhaul of the tech stack, including migration to Microservices and Google Cloud GCP. Built the sites from scratch using latest tech stack like React JS, Node JS, NextJS, jest, webpack, etc from scratch following the atomic design principles. I worked on various key pages, including Product Page, Homepage, and Category page besides ensuring robust error handling for a wide range of components throughout the project. Have a sound knowledge of Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, and GTM and worked in integrations to the site. Possess advanced expertise in SEO (Search Engine Optimization) techniques and canonical handling to achieve superior search engine rankings.

Environment: React JS, Redux, Typescript, Bootstrap, Next JS, Material UI(MUI), HTML5, CSS, Angular 2, Thunk, Express, Jest, Adobe AEM, Perl, XML, XSL, Tealeaf, GTM, GA

Order Management System - Customer Service Portal, Architected and developed a single portal for order management. Which includes numerous features like cancellations, promotions, refunds, email communication, contacting florists, and order status tracking. Developed efficient functionalities such as Bulk Order Processing and Inventory Management Screens. Using this, agents can search for a list of orders and edit (delete/send email etc.) them all in one go. This feature turned out to be a major revenue generator as it enormously reduced the processing time which otherwise was done for each order manually. Designed and developed features like upload functionality, auto-suggestions, and fraud management. Implemented service improvements and value add-ons successfully.

Environment: React JS, Redux, Typescript, Bootstrap, Next JS, Material UI(MUI), HTML5, CSS, Angular 2, Thunk, Express, Jest, Adobe AEM, Perl, XML, XSL, Tealeaf, GTM, GA

Gateway for Microservices - Developed this enterprise-level gateway for data manipulation across microservices, consisting of various forms with different fields. This gateway is built using React. It has a unique architecture that incorporates Java for configuring and customizing UI components. I have worked on implementing new configurations on the Java end of the system as well. The configurations are served as a metadata and UI is built using the metadata. Designed the frontend code efficiently handle these configurations, including complex UI setups such as tabbed screens with different views and popups with multiple field types. An interesting component I developed was a query search builder with custom fields.

Environment: React JS, Redux, Typescript, Bootstrap, Next JS, Material UI(MUI), HTML5, CSS, Angular 2, Thunk, Express, Jest, Adobe AEM, Perl, XML, XSL, Tealeaf, GTM, GA

Responsive Mobile site development: This is the most interesting project and turned out to be a huge revenue producer for our company. It is creating the mobile version of our website. I have played a vital role in bringing up the project from scratch.

Environment: Angular 2, Material UI(MUI), HTML4, CSS, Perl, XML, XSL, Tealeaf, GTM, GA

Content Management System: As FTD is completely maintained in house, CMS was also for us to maintain and add new features. All the content on the site can be configured in here. It has an extensive hierarchy of categories, to divide the content between various sites, child domains, florist sites. We have also implemented the authorization and different views for users who login with different levels of authorization.

Environment: Perl, XML, XSL, Javascript, JQuery, Tealeaf, GTM, GA

Product Page Redesign: The goal of this project is to redesign the product page. Change the logic of rendering the sku-options, delivery area, delivery date and other sections of the product page.

Environment: Perl, XML, XSL, Javascript, JQuery, Tealeaf, GTM, GA

Site Navigation – Megamenu: In this project, I led the development of a comprehensive new navigation menu for our Interflora site. I assumed full responsibility for the project, handling tasks from retrieving backend data to constructing the entire UI of the menu. This involved creating a new top navigation featuring up to 10 tabs, each capable of accommodating up to 4 columns as per requirements.

Additionally, I implemented a content management page that displays the entire megamenu data tab-wise, allowing business users to add or modify content easily. One of the notable challenges I tackled was incorporating product displays within the columns of the Megamenu, which required innovative solutions.

Environment: Perl, XML, XSL, Javascript, JQuery, Tealeaf, GTM, GA

Autosuggestion Functionality:

This project goal is pretty simple –to show the matching towns/counties while the user is searching for a location. I developed this project independently. Implemented the auto suggestion in such a way as a plugin. For every character the user types in, we fire an ajax call that fetches the data from the database and returns it as a JSON. Using this JSON which has the typed word as key, we create the dropdown below the input text box showing all the matching locations.

Environment: Perl, XML, XSL, Javascript, JQuery, Tealeaf, GTM, GA

New Delivery Services – Postcode Checker Widgets and Delivery Information Page:

This extensive project involved integrating multiple delivery services into our website, including express options (1hr, 2hr), Sunday delivery, and other detailed requirements. I focused on developing the Postcode Widget, which allows users to input date, postcode, and occasion to display relevant products on a category page. I created four widget variants and managed error messaging. Additionally, I built a content management page where business users can edit HTML, CSS, and error messages for each widget variant. I also developed the New Delivery Information page, handling backend and UI changes. I designed and implemented the DI Widget using JSON data for flexible customization of positions, text, and colors. Error handling was crucial to manage cases where no products are found, or services are unavailable.

Lastly, I established a content management system for storing HTML and CSS content across all Postcode Widget variations, ensuring efficient maintenance.

Environment: Perl, XML, XSL, Javascript, JQuery, Tealeaf, GTM, GA
