Oversight of project safety program to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
Leading the health and safety team ensuring the successful delivery of the strategy on site.
Compile data, photographs, etc.; prepare all daily, weekly and monthly reports and calculating of daily man-power and man-hours on site.
Ensure permit to work system before task.
Prepare job safety analysis (JSA), risk assessment and method statement.
Toolbox talk given to all workers and supervisors before task commence
Monitoring safety aspects during lifting operation, fabrication, painting activities
Supervise all construction activities correct and recommends all unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.
Supervise safe operations of all earthmoving equipment thus cranes, forklifts and other lifting equipment.
Supervise all critical activities including confined space entry work, excavation, electrical, working at height, and civil works.
Daily inspection on Site/Onboard and inspection of fire extinguishers report submit to the project HSE manager.
Writing, investigating of incident and accident reports.
Weakly safety meetings to educate all workers and supervisors
Pre- mobbing of equipment and inspection of operator’s Certificate.
Conducting routine inspection on storage facilities, emergency and fire evacuation drills.
Supervise lock out/tag out operations (LOTO) and inspection of fall protection gears.
Excavation and Trench Safety.
Co-ordinate and ensure that newly engaged employees go through the required training before they start work.
Ensure strict enforcement of compliance of the policies and procedures.
Review company policies and risk assessment to suit the current activities ESSENTIAL SKILLS
Ability to work for long hours, team player and fast in learning new things.
Astute computer, knowledge in MS. Office, Excel, Power point and Internet applications.
