I worked my way through nursing school as a carhop at Sonic Drive Thru and as a PCA at Forest Manor Nursing Home, Inc., and worked at the same nursing home as an LPN. At Druid City Hospital, I worked as an Orthopedic Nurse for almost three years before moving out of the state of Alabama. My latter nursing experience came from caring for my father who was comatose for 16 years. Because we cared for him at home, I have experience in total care, including, wound care, ventilators, breathing treatments, medication administration, break down skin care, oxygen administration, catheter, J-tube, G-tube care, and etc.

I am retired from nursing. I have owned my small crochet business Val’s Gifts of Warmth since 2008. I am a nominee for the Who’s Who Among American Businesswomen 2022. I enjoy being a Featured Writer Contributor with BizCatalyst360.com and my blog entitled My Poetic Life (The Book) at www.mypoeticlifebook.wordpress.com has been up for four years. I am a poet as well and I began acting on stage a three ago for Mor-Shy Productions.

EXPECTATIONS:

I am looking for an at-home position that can bring in a steady income to help take care of my family. I am seeking a position which can become permanent where I can truly help others.
