Under his creative direction, State Farm Insurance was awarded a U.S. National EFFIE award for its “Get to a Better State” campaign intended for the Hispanic market. Juan participated in the inception and creation of the State Farm Latino Facebook brand page which went from zero fans to 221K fans within a year back in 2011. He also led creatively the “Greatest Hits” campaign that helped Sprint to be awarded as the CMC National Advertiser of the Year. The extension of this campaign was awarded an EFFIE. Juan was also in charge of Sprint’s “Fútbol Mode” campaign for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, which was awarded a U.S. National EFFIE due to its impressive results in sales over a 9-month period.
Juan acted as the creative lead for several client pitches which the agency successfully won between 2011 and the present time. Those wins among awards at international festivals helped the agency to be included in Advertising Age’s Top 10 Agency list (2012 & 2016) and also be named Multicultural Ad Agency of the Year three times (2014, 2015 & 2017.) The American Honda account, including the Acura brand, was his main responsibility as it relates to creative direction.
