CTIW Draftsman/CNC Programmer 2005 to Present

We provide fabrication for the Power Generation, Oil and Gas, Pulp and Paper, Automotive, Cement, Co-Generation, Petrochemical, and Commercial Structural Steel industries.

Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, and material specifications

Programming single run and production test run on parts

Job tracking to insure and quote, on-time delivery dates

Inspection of parts to ensure they meet or exceed customer requirement

Ordering of all the tools used on CNC machines

Review and approve all production prints before shop

Managed the selection and purchase of all cutting tools

Schedule and assign work to shop

Provided solutions and instructions to machine operators

Performs other jobs as assigned by Supervisor

Programming, setting up and machining of NC blocks and various 3D machined parts. (Surface programing and machining)

Perform structural drawings from written descriptions, sketches and verbal instructions for various material handling (e.g., conveyors, tanks, transfer stations, screenhouse, etc.) related projects.

Work closely with steel detailing team in custom layouts, fabrication and erection drawings for various steel detailing projects

Draws details on AutoCAD, SDS software, Sicam and Pronest environment using latest version. Works with clients and company standards, submits all drawings with quality and on time. Ensure that the drawing guidelines and procedures set by clients and company standards are complied.

Good computer skills and ability to query, monitor, and input NC machine and system data

Proficient with Solid Edge, Microsoft Office products including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, and Outlook

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task

Able to manufacture fairly complex parts or assemblies with preliminary drawings. Able to operate more advanced test or manufacturing equipment

Ability to perform own set ups - and experience to run the programs which have been created on the applicable CNC machines to produce production parts

Knowledgeable in tool & Parameter selection as per the material

Good computer skills and ability to query, monitor, and input machine and system data
