Plus assemble parts together by running a wire up through the plastic housing. Preform computer testing to make sure computer chips are working correctly during our daily production. Then fill up the body with a epoxy material to protect the computer chip and the battery. Once this process is complete. The electronic radio is ready to be attached to the register that keeps count of the water usage.

Responsible for all phases of manufacturing, scheduling, and safety for the steel processing department.
Duties included departmental scheduling for 24 hourly members and 18 work cells. Operations included Mig/Tig Welding, Operating Amada, Wysong, and Cincinnati CNC Lasers and Press Brakes with Fanuc controls. Increased 22-gauge material utilization by 17%. Project converted all 20-gauge materials to 22-gauge materials. Increase volume of 22 gauge material, reduced engineered waste and dead zone inventory. Savings were realized through utilization gains and decreased cost per pound of material due to using a lighter weight material for the parts. Combined savings of $225K/yr.
Implemented and sustained 100 improvement projects. Projects were initiated through the
“Member Suggestion Program”. An approve suggestion is one that impacts the “8 Deadly Wastes” or impacts the 4 pillars of the operating system; Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost.Reduced scrap rate on steel components from 8.7% to 3.6%. Resulted in annualized savings of 268K/yr. Worked directly with engineering to correct 400+ blue prints and BOM’s. Increased 5S score from 13% on day one to 61%.
