Role: Project Manager & Scrum Master Project: Common Data Acquisition (CDA)

Manage numerous Key Initiative projects annually as part of Change the Bank (CTB) and Run the Bank (RTB) programs.

Huge achievement for CDA 2.0 Initiative as part of CTB which cut down the daily processing time to provision data to downstream system. Implemented new Data Infrastructure components for PPNR/Balance sheet forecasting with capabilities to support data acquisition and provisioning of source data, data transformation, aggregation and data quality controls required for PPNR model execution.

Applied extensive expertise in System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and Agile project management techniques to manage multiple projects.

Collaborate on the requirements, defined the scope, identified deliverables, and created the Work Breakdown Structure and project plan with detailed schedule.

Role: Project Manager - BI Project: Legal Global Reporting (LGRU)

Leadership of a vast team with both onshore and offshore resources providing comprehensive services to the client and ensuring smooth execution.

Maintain and support different projects in Development, SIT, UAT and Production environments across different regions.

Working on different new initiatives, existing project enhancement for various reporting projects and doing requirement gathering along with providing technical solution for Legal business reports.

SAP Business Objects XI 3.1 to MicroStrategy 10.5, 10.11 migration projects were one great milestone to achieve in this project. Around 7-8 reporting projects along with 250+ reports were in scope of this entire migration. The complete project was executed with good coordination and well planning without impacting the business users and stakeholders with their reporting needs.

Collaborated with Technical team and QA to review requirements of the end users and prove effective solutions.

New GRU Data Warehouse was developed and implemented in production, which now allows business users with more flexibility and less dependency on the source application system while doing reporting. The data was pulled from Application source system through Extraction, Transformation; loading methodology to load into new flattened relational data structure. Later, along with standard reports a new logical reporting layer was built to provide business user flexibility for their own on demand reporting needs.

Coordinate and perform review session with the team for reports and make sure reports are ready for system testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) as per the business requirements.

Work with business to perform User Interface testing (UAT) just ahead of the final production deployment, build test cases and perform testing as required with business users and stake holders. Also make them understand how requirement is come up with solution by presenting them.

Coordinate the UAT and Production deployment and seek all the required approvals and signoffs before and after the implementation of each project.

3. Fifth Third Bank Cincinnati, OH Nov 2009 - Jul 2014 Role – Project Lead & Sr Developer Project - Data Warehouse Business Intelligence (DWBI)

Partnered with business customers to clearly develop and communicate strategic vision and product roadmap.

Translated epics into stories to enable development teams to understand scope and prepare user stories to support iterative delivery of product.

Operate on project estimations, resource planning and executing the project within expected deadline within budget.

Participation in New business initiatives from initial phase of planning and forecasting.

Created several canned as well as adhoc customer reports and worked on requirement for designing and development of complex reports. Generated analytical reports using Slice and Dice, Drill down, Cross Tab, complex formula using

@Functions and @Prompts, use of graph and charts.

Developed reports from multiple data providers and used merged dimensions. Report link is implemented using Open document functionality so multiple reports can be interlinked within each other logically.

Supervise the team in optimizing the existing code in production and make team follow new learning into the new developments. Ex: Query Tuning using Aggregate Awareness, Short Cut joins, Custom SQL at Universe level for faster retrieval of data and better reporting performance. Worked with DBAs to perform tuning at Table level by creating index.

Highly Interactive Dashboard completely based on dynamic user input and varying amount of information to analyze without limitations being provided to the user.

4. ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, India May 2007 - Nov 2009 Role: BI Consultant

Involved in gathering, analyzing and documenting business requirements, functional requirements and data specifications for business objects universes and reports.

Created Universe level objects and measures using the business rules provided.

Setting up the security levels to the users in universe module like row level and object level security.

Designed and developed the Functional Analysis and Technical Design like Joins, Shortcut Joins, Contexts, and Cardinalities of the tables and structures of the Universe.

Importing and Exporting the Universes to repository to make it accessible to end users.

Extensively used QAAWS to retrieve the SAP BI data from the universe objects.
