Jay Coalman
SUPERINTENDENT
PROJECT MANAGER
SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER
***** *. ***** **** **, Molalla OR 97038
**********@*****.***
I have managed projects from the very small to over $50 million. I have a variety of experience working with people at all levels including Stakeholders, Customers, Employees, and Subcontractors. I firmly believe in working as a team to build repeat business by meeting and exceeding the client’s needs and desires.
My experience in construction started almost forty years ago as a union carpenter working on the new Bonneville Dam. I have worked as a superintendent on a number of projects before progressing to eventually owning my own mid-sized construction company in Salem OR. Since that time I have held positions as Division Manager at Gerding Builders, where I was in charge of managing the Multi-Family, Senior Living, Federal, Tribal and Local Government Divisions. I have also worked for Northcon Construction as their Western Area Manager, and for Seabold Construction as Senior Project Manager. Before employment with Seabold Construction I owned and managed Coalman Construction Company in Salem, Oregon for fifteen years, growing it to be a major competitor among the construction companies in the area.
I always take a personal interest in every project that I manage to ensure that they are completed on time and on budget, with an eye to profit maximization.
My many years working with various tribal organizations, private and public entities, non-profit organizations, senior facility developers, and commercial/retail, has given me the experience needed to protect the owners, developer’s, and contractors interests and at the same time keeping all subcontractors on task for a speedy completion of the projects that I manage.
In the interest of brevity included below is a cross sampling of the various types of projects that I have been either a superintendent, Project Manager, or Contractor on. You can be confident that as member of your team I will use my many years of pre-planning, estimating, building, and remodeling experience to complete all projects on time and on budget.
