JetBlue currently operates BSOs in over 40 stations across the network. JetBlue currently utilizes NetTracer for baggage management in BSO and CBS, and utilizes Brock solutions for scanning and baggage tracking. Central Baggage along with Airports has worked with both of these Business Partners to create an integrated platform which will reduce the need for BSO space in airports. An integrated tool which combines real-time scanning data from Brock and baggage tracking from NetTracer to allow Crew members and Customers the ability to track missing/delayed bags in real-time. If a customer arrives and their bag does not, they will have the ability to open a PAWOB directly from their mobile device or laptop. Additionally, Crewmembers will be available to serve Customers with baggage issues utilizing an iPad-friendly version of NetTracer. Having mobile tools, and the ability for Customers to self-serve will reduce the dependence on the physical BSO space.
Project 2: In-flight Service Assistant (IfSA)
The purpose of this project is to provide a user-friendly application on to work from an iOS device to any mobile device for in-flight crew in both English and Spanish Languages. The application will display necessary content to enhance the efficiency in delivery of services, as well as the overall customer experience during each JetBlue Airways flight.
