• 2008-2010
o Led the station in arrests and seizures. For approximately two years, Albuquerque, NM. Border Patrol Station led the El Paso, TX. sector in seizures and arrests. Started the Seize Property program and worked with El Paso, TX. sector Asset Forfeiture office to implement procedures for storing and transporting seized property.
• 2011 to 2012
o Assigned to the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Fugitive Operations (ICE FUG OPS) as a Task Force Officer. During my time with ICE FUG OPS, I worked with Deportation Officers at locating and arresting fugitive illegal aliens, who had previously been removed from the United States and were convicted of crimes.
• 2012 to 2013
o Assigned to the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) as a Task Force Officer. During my time with the DEA, I was assigned to work with two DEA Agents on a Drug Interdiction team. The focus was on interdicting drugs and money from drug proceeds, on the Amtrak Train and Grey Hound Bus. Our team was successful at apprehending and prosecuting individuals involved in drug smuggling. We were also very successful at seizing drugs and money from drug proceeds.
o Additionally, I participated in search warrants, Controlled Deliveries, Surveillance, and Wiretapping Operations.

• 2013 to 2019
o Assigned to Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), as a Task Force Officer. During my time with HSI, I was assigned to work Smuggling Interdiction with Albuquerque Police K-9 Officers, on Interstate 40 and the Amtrak Train and Grey Hound Bus. We were very successful at interdicting illegal aliens, drugs and money from drug proceeds. Worked with Informants as well, resulting in apprehensions of drugs and illegal aliens.
o During my time with HSI, I was also assigned to work with the New Mexico State Police on a Drug Interdiction Team, were I worked as a Case Agent. As a Case Agent I responded to New Mexico State Police vehicle stops, that involved Drug Smuggling. After an arrest was made, I was responsible for processing the case, seizing the drugs and all pertinent property related to the case. Additionally, I presented these cases to Acting U.S. Attorneys (AUSA) for prosecution, was involved in court proceedings and testifying in Federal Court. I also participated in Search Warrants, Control Deliveries, Surveillance and Wiretapping Operations.
• 2019 to present
o As I’m not assigned to a Task Force and currently working out of my station, I work mainly highway interdiction duties in plain clothes and in an unmarked vehicle, conducting surveillance at gas pumps, where smugglers are known to stop. Consensual encounters are made with smugglers, leading to probable cause for an arrest. Additionally, I work intelligence leads from El Paso Sector Border Patrol Stations that are linked to Albuquerque, NM.
o Currently, I am the only officially assigned Border Patrol Agent who is left at the Albuquerque, NM. Border Patrol station. As the only Agent officially assigned to the station, I oversee the day-to-day activities. This includes conducting the station’s inventory (SAP), conducting the station’s Self-Inspection Program (SIP) and communicating with the General Services Administration (GSA) and the building manager in order to maintain the station up to standard.
o In addition to this, I am responsible for presenting all arrests that meet prosecution requirements to the AUSA for prosecution. I also represent the United States Border Patrol in Grand Juries for cases related to other Border Patrol Stations in the El Paso sector.

o I was assigned to work with Immigration and Customs Enforcement
(ICE), at their Detention facility in Florence, AZ. as an Intelligence Agent. During my time with ICE, I worked with various Federal Agencies to gather and share intelligence, related to smuggling organizations operating within the United States and other countries. Additionally, I participated in surveillance activities and made arrests related to intelligence gathered concerning smuggling organizations.
• 2007 to December 2008
o I was assigned to work in the Seized Property unit, as the Seized Property Custodian. As such, I was responsible for the efficient and effective custody, management, and disposition of seized/forfeited property within the Tucson, AZ. station, area of responsibility. This included the receipt, custody, security, transportation, review of appraised value, storage, inventory, preservation, modification, upgrade, and/or disposition of all types of seized personal and real property, including vehicles, controlled substances, currency, and firearms.
Responsible for making arrangements for the transfer of seized goods that were to be turned over to another Agency, contractor or owner for custody, storage and disposition.
Responsible for ensuring that all seizure paperwork was correct and turned in by Agents. I was also responsible for entering all seized property into the SEACATS database, maintaining records of all seized property, calibrating scales daily and ensuring that K- 9 inspections were conducted on all seized vehicles. • I started my career in Law Enforcement working for the Arizona Department of Corrections (ADOC) in February 1998.
