Worked on Forest fire risk zonation in Pauri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand using high resolution LISS IV sensor under the title

“Forest fire Risk Zonation- A case study in Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand”.

A project work of one month in Forest Research Institute on Sericulture under the title “Sericulture Management”. Knowledge in the field Survey:

1. Spatial data collection using GPS and DGPS. (Boundary, Road, stream,wells, vegetation, villages, terrain etc)

2. Socio-economic data collection. (Population, farmers, Literate/illiterate, sources of income, farmland, women, children, reasons for low incomeand productivity, domestic animals (milk production), Effect on wildlife. 3. Type of crop grown and productivity.

4. Cost-benefit analysis in agricultural land.

5. Irrigation type and cost, plowing, pesticides used, seed purchase, labourcost, harvesting techniques, packing, marketing, transportation, mandi charges, return to farmers.
