•Prevention and precautions against, or adequate control of, exposure to hazardous substances, and danger from flammable, explosive, electrical, noise and manual handling risks.
•Advice and, where applicable, training/orientation in matters related to occupational health & safety, environment and Conduct HSE presentations and training to employees as required.
•Generates special safety plans during plant shutdown and maintenance activities.
•Conducts safety audits both internal and external.
•Record and investigate incidents to determine causes and handle worker’s
compensation claims.
•Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management.
