As a pharmacy technician my day to day duties consists of receiving prescriptions from medical doctors, entering into patient profile through IC+, adjudicating insurance, and filling the prescription. I engage my patient's through the company's initiatives such as enrolling them into the SATR program, 90 day program, or auto refills to keep the patient's adherent to their medication regimen. I am responsible for completing calls in our patient care portal, completing tasks inside of core pharmacy workflow, and assisting with inventory control through RXI. I help receive and put away the drugs inside the pharmacy so the shelves are stocked. I work the window up front and drive thru to receive or sell prescriptions. I administer COVID test through our drive thru window. I help drive the pharmacy metrics such as patient promise time, phone hold time, and immunizations to name a few. I register patient's for vaccinations and testing. I am responsible for the correct billing and coding of scripts, test, and immunizations. My job is to ensure the patient's are getting the correct medication, the correct route, and correct directions when they come to pickup. I am also responsible for cash handling through the POS for patient pick up. I process prescriptions through the TMS portal for patient delivery via Fedex couriers. As a technician I am responsible for handling patient health information securley and confidentially to company standards. Details :

I have work at two different volumes pharmacies. With prescription quantities ranging from 400 600 a day.
