Interface with accounting software e.g. SAGE Dacesy/Saga 50 and Microsoft office

Reconcile financial accounts inclusive of Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payables,

Prepare Trial Balance, General Ledger and Bookkeeping.

Manage and prepare all financial statements inclusive of Profit and Loss statements.

Make deposits and monitor companies account balances

Issue payments to vendors

Manage and recover payments from clients/guest

Confirm company issued cheques with bank representatives

Liaise with financial institutions on company accounts as required.

Purchasing of stock for retail online and at the gift shop.

Reconcile invoices with departmental billings and track payment accordingly

Provide general audit/overview of all accounts and practices to ensure balance and transparency.

Human Resource Function

Identify, screen and shortlist suitable vendors that meet the hotel’s standard and appeal to its guest/clients.

Perform background checks on vendor, inclusive of their social media presence, client base and reviews.

Prepare and issue contract for service

Supervise vendors to ensure that all hotel standards and expectations are met. Marketing & Property Management Function

Coordinate hotel events and functions including Christmas and Carnival special events e.g. “Under the Tree” @ Normandie and “Thursday Lime”

Research and strategically monitor various radio station activity and listenership to select best advertisement slots
