I have more than 25 years’ experience in Engineering, Construction, the Petrochemical Industry, Chemical, Aerospace Manufacturing, Government Infrastructures and Plastic Injection Molding Manufacturing. The value of these projects has ranged from thousands of dollars to a billion dollars. These experiences have developed my engineering & management skills and allowed me a global perspective of the business environment. These experiences have also given me the ability to interact with personnel at various positions, to obtain the required information. I have been involved and managed the engineering, procurement, and construction involved with revamping and the construction of new facilities in oil refineries, hospitals, commercial and residential buildings. Authorized to work in the US for any employer
Work Experience
Project Engineer/Manager
Ecobat, formerly known as Quemetco-Industry, CA
September 2020 to Present
• Determined method to improve the oxidation of Sulfites, using existing system and processes, that allowed for the replacement of tanks through increase in the rate of Oxidation.
• Develop and installed a method to allow 3 tanks that operated in series to be individually isolated for replacement.
• Planned, and managed the project of ensuring all the tanks in Water Quality met code, and complied with Department of Toxic Substance Control(DTSC) standards.
• Designed equipment for battery dismantling to allow acid to be separated and conserved for other processes.
• Managed multiple projects from design thru construction, simultaneously.
• Designed methods to consolidate motor and blower configuration for increased space and for ease of maintenance.
• Standardized the method of collecting DROSS from the lead melt that saved 3 man hours per DROSSing occasion.
• Managed the design, permitting, and build of a 375,000 gallon rainwater runoff storage tank, and associated infrastructure.
Project Engineer
Worley Parsons Group-Monrovia, CA
I worked with the Engineering Department to increase the operability of stations through discussions with Engineering Department that led to revisions to the design documents.
• While working on 2 oil refineries simultaneously, ensured all of the Engineering Disciplines used the correct design guidelines, through creating an Engineering Standards Matrix, which listed the correct standard per refinery, per subject matter.
• Ensured company was ISO 9001 compliant through ensuring tooling currently being used had the correct documentation and were correctly labeled.
• Ensure company had the correct safety equipment and forms, for the type of work being performed. Manufacturing
• Created a robust product, by using Pareto analysis, to determine the most viable epoxy.
• Analyzed customers' quality issues, and performed corrections through either modification to the molding process, handling, and/or tooling design.
• Validated the performance of assembly equipment, and trouble shot problems during production, and made corrections.
• Developed injection molding processes to allow for quality part production, when minor variations of process parameters occurred.
• Identified a bottleneck, and developed process drawings, P&IDs, and a proposal for the installation of a system to alleviate the bottle-neck that was limiting production. Education
