Public Relations/ Executive Assistant May 2021-November 2023 Worked under the city mayor’s office. Had the privilege of handling multiple city officials' Facebook pages. This entailed creating engaging content and graphics, monitoring comments and feedback, and boosting engagement on social media. In addition, I wrote updated news and answered messages and inquiries on various social media platforms. As my internship progressed, I was appointed as an Executive Assistant to Hon. Jasmine "Daday" Chan (daughter of the city mayor). As an Executive Assistant, I assisted in managing her schedule, correspondence, and other related administrative duties. I also served as the Focal Person for the city's Covid-19 Vaccination site in the System Department, helping ensure smooth operations and the efficient delivery of services. Alongside these responsibilities, I served as the City's Social Media Manager, handling various platforms and promoting city events and initiatives. I also hosted some of the city's biggest events, serving as an emcee and event organizer. City Social Media Manager/ Journalist Intern July 2020-May 2021 Primarily responsible for managing multiple city Facebook pages. This involved creating engaging content and graphics, boosting engagement through various means, monitoring comments and feedback, and responding to inquiries on social media. I also had the opportunity to accompany the mayor on his visits and write news stories related to city affairs. Overall, the experience provided me with a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital communications, community engagement, and public relations. I learned a lot about the inner workings of city government and how to effectively communicate with the public through social media. Experienced training a group of 25 trainees every four weeks. This involved facilitating English language discussions, teaching product knowledge, and conducting professional development workshops focused on learning goals and classroom management. I also created email blasts and laid-out posters of updates to be sent to the six different Amazon Concentrix sites across the Philippines. As an author of Amazon's monthly spot check, I sent updates and provided feedback to all employees of Amazon Concentrix sites across the Philippines. During peak seasons, I took escalation calls and chats and conducted Mock Calls as an assessment. Additionally, I introduced complicated tools and discussed how to navigate them with trainees. I also provided training on how to deal with various customer concern scenarios and taught strategies and rebuttals for specific customer issues. Youth Leader Cebu Headquarters 2016
Played an integral role as a Du30 Bisaya Na Pud Youth Leader during the 2016 Philippine Presidential Elections, supporting the election campaign of President Rodrigo Duterte. I worked directly under his organization in the headquarters based in Cebu, where I was responsible for event organizing and many other activities. My leadership skills were put to the test as I coordinated with various teams and individuals to ensure the success of our events and campaigns. After the presidential election, President Duterte won and was declared as the new leader of the Philippines. It was an incredibly rewarding experience to be part of a historic moment in our country's history, and I am proud to have played a part in making it happen. Through my role as a Du30 Bisaya Na Pud Youth Leader, I developed my leadership skills, learned how to manage and motivate teams, and gained a deeper appreciation for the importance of civic engagement and political participation.
