Generic Recipe Manager (GeRM):

The Generic Recipe Manager (GeRM) is an engineering software application and database for automation. GeRM stores recipe information that can be downloaded to the tool. GeRM provides inserts, updates, deletes, and viewing of the relationships between equipment, design IDs (or part types), steps, and recipes. It allows steady-state recipe information to be controlled, and allows process exceptions through the definition of rules.

GeRM Deviation Manager (GDM):

This project was the enhancement of the GeRM and the GeRM Deviation Manager application which can be run in multiple modes. At the time of this writing the GDM application could be run stand-alone in the Lot Deviation creation mode, from MES SWR in the SWR Deviation creation mode, and from MES Fab Tracking in the MES Dynamic Deviation creation mode.

Common Limit Interface (CLI):

CLI is a common component which created to share the common SPC limits with manufacturing application GeRM, SPC and Sigma. The system will keep the three systems to maintain common Limits in one place and let to share the same limits such as Lower, Upper among the shared systems.

Other systems Design/Development/Implementation/Support are Part Maintenance, Queue Time limit, MES, GeRM Server, GeRM Recipe Adjustment Systems.

Responsibilities:

One of the initial developers on GeRM and involved Design and Implement the Generic Recipe Manager (GeRM) major components including GeRM Template, GeRM Parameter OCX.

Worked as a single developer on the Common Limit Interface (CLI) component and integrate the component with GeRM, SPC and Sigma. Also the CLI component can be access as stand alone if needed.

Worked as a single architect/developer on design, develop a tool (PHOTO area Scanner to Virtual tool conversion utility) that convert the existing PHOTO scanner tools in GeRM to PHOTO virtual tool, for all major sites. The tool was used to convert one time for each site and was successful production conversion that time.
