Remove and replace skins and major MRB that cannot be accepted to engineering drawings outside of normal shop environment. To installing radio racks, flooring, to webs, spares, etc. have installed freeze plugs, patches, splicing materials, Shims, as well as some Structure work. Work on the 737 aircraft to remove and replace fuselage skin panels and replace missing and/or damaged fasteners. Performs a variety of operations to assemble and make major assembly structures such as fuselage panels and bulkheads, and structural subassemblies to engineering. Troubleshoot all major structural repairs. Heavy structure and sheet metal assembly on Boeing 737 aircraft models drilled and attached sheet metal, structure, and aircraft skins in accordance with engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and written instructions using hand tools and automated tooling including drills, riveting, various pneumatic tools, sheet metal brakes and shears. Checked assemblies for function, fit, and finish using precision measuring equipment such as inside and outside micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, depth gauges and specialized testing equipment.
