Currently working with AFCONS Infrastructure Limited, as Manager QA/QC- Mechanical From June 2015 till date.
Responsibility-As a Fabrication (Expeditor):
QA/QC Manager : developed Project specifications & Quality Procedures based on Project requirements and capturing the quality requirements through Inter-Disciplinary Checks (IDC) within the team to confirm that all identified deliverables are as per project requirements prior to release. -Ensured to capture all Critical-To- Quality parameters in the Inspection & Test Requirements / Plans/ Procedures for the equipment / packages & Material for implementation based on Project requirements. -Supported the projects with Proposed WPS and to prepare the WPS/PQR, WPQ for the site fabrication work. As an Expeditor: -Expedited the Complete project material from PO placement to the material delivery at site. - With Vendor meeting to brief the Overview of the project, Explaining the project specification & requirements to analyze the key manufacturing process and to finalize the inspection stages. -Coordinated with suppliers for the project document submissions, Inspection notifications, Shipping documentation. -Coordinated with logistics coordinator to ensure that the material delivered to site with proper shipping documentation. - Supported Project Management team with the updates of supplier work progress during all phases of manufacturing & alerts provided on anticipated delay related to quality requirements.

Giving punches as per category wise like “A- before hydro it should be clear, B- after Hydro it can be clear etc).
Implementing spool identification system.
Monitoring daily progress Status.
Monitoring Welder performance and Conduct Visual Inspection of welds and repairs of welds in accordance with company procedures and International code of Practiced for Pipes.
QC Inspection and monitoring the quality for every stages of work in progress which Comply with the client specification.
Before hydro or pneumatic test make sure the blind used is as per standard to avoid any accident during test.
After test make sure that line is flushed and air blowing is done to avoid any water entrapment in the pipes.
Co-coordinating all inspection with the client at site.
Review of hydro test package before going to walk through and make sure ISO DWG and P & ID is matching and NDE is covered.
Once the line is completed than doing walk through with the client inspector for punches.
Mark the inlet, pressure gauge ports and manometer port by studding equipment and P& ID producing erection plan for equipment and ensure that the lay out inspection is completed before erection.
Supervise a team of Quality Control, welding, and NDT Inspectors and ensure that Project Quality Plans are prepared, implemented.
Ensure qualified welders are identifiable by welder ID cards at shop & site.
Witnessing of welder qualifications testing and procedures qualification testing
Reviewing of the welding summery reports
Advising the site subcontractors with regards to welding and testing.
Before welding Ensure qualified welders are identifiable by welder ID cards at shop & site in process stage weld fit up & monitoring pre-Heating and inter pass temperature to conduct patrol inspection and produce the report.
Maintains a record of all welders’ activities.
Follows inspection and test plan for the welding works and carries out the varies stage inspection to review the documents of NDT which is conducted by the third party?
Plan and establish general and individual procedure for the inspection for each work category.
Monitoring of spools during transportation for any damage and make sure the spools are internally cleaned before it is transformed to site.
Monitoring for support in site correct type of support is used as per ISO dwg and welding is carried out as per support dwg.
Reinstatement package review for Bolt torque.
Welding essential variables, Preheat temperature, consumables and the welding monitoring as well as amperage, voltage, travel speed, heat input and inter-pass temperature according to the welding procedure specification. (WPS).
Weld Testing for new welders.(WQT)
Witness of PT, MT and UT.
Witness of Hydro static and Pneumatic Test.
Monitoring for Piping material receiving, handling and Stores.
Ensure that relevant specification, ITP & procedure are approved before starting of any inspection
Performing Activities as per Inspection Test Plan and method Statement for Various Activities involved in the Construction.
Review of WPS, PQR & Welders Qualification as per ASME code and project specification.
Make sure fabrication of Pipe spools as per latest revision of ISO drawings.
Monitoring the fabrication of spools for rolling, correct material used like flanges, fittings etc.
Checking color code of the different materials are as per project material specification.
Monitoring NDE is completed before release of any spool from shop to site.
Implementing spool identification system.
Carrying out inspection for U/G piping (excavation, level check etc).
Witnessing wrapping and coating inspection.
Witnessing Holiday testing of U/G piping.
Make sure Doubling as per latest revision of drawings.
Inspection of tie-in after lowering the pipes.

After spools are released to site make sure correct spools are delivered to correct location or area.

Co-coordinating with third party Inspection Agencies (SGS, BVI), Certifying Authorities, and Planning & Execution Department to complete the job within schedule.
Co-ordination with Third Party Inspection agency in Material Inspection, consumables, etc.
Knowledge of GTAW & SMAW welding process for CS & CS NACE, SS, & ALLOY STEEL as per WPS, PQR.
Ensures that all welders are fully qualified to be procedures required by the project standards, and that their qualifications are current.
