we evaluated the effect of epidural anesthesia on normal vaginal delivery duration& progression, patient satisfaction Scale, and the need for cesarean section in 200 women with labor pain. Among other predictors, we identified that using epidural anesthesia is not associated with prolongation of first stage of normal vaginal delivery or arrest of uterine contractions.
