• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables, or analyze sample parts to determine the necessary machining operations and plan the optimal sequence of actions.

• Set up and operate HAAS VF5/VF10 CNC Horizontal and Vertical Milling machines.

• Calculate dimensions and tolerances, as well as measure and mark out workpieces accordingly.

• Configure, operate, and ensure the upkeep of various machine tools, including computer numerically controlled

(CNC) equipment, to execute intricate and unique machining tasks such as turning, milling, boring, drilling, sawing, planning, and precision grinding.

• Assemble machined metal components and subassemblies using a range of hand and power tools.

• Validate the accuracy and adherence to specifications of finished products by employing precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions.

• Prepare and program machine tools to facilitate utilization by other machining tool operators.

• Confirm the dimensions of machined components or tooling by utilizing tools such as micrometers, verniers, 2 P a g e

calipers, height gauges, optical comparators, as well as other specialized measuring instruments.
