I am a resourceful Engineer who pursued a diploma in mechanical engineering at Kyambogo University, highly skilled in machine operation, repair, maintenance, designing, modifying and servicing all types of machinery including factory models, whether manufacturing machines, heating, air conditioning and ventilation, Elevators and Escalators, Engines and industrial refrigerators and freezers. I do welcome all challenges of maintaining, improving and fixing other types of machinery where I have not yet had opportunity to become acquainted with as well. 1. Utility maintenance technician at Coca-Cola beverages Uganda---2022-up to-date

Duties and Responsibilities

Monitoring and Operating utility equipments and systems such as steam boilers, Air compressor, chillers, cooling tower,generators,motors, pumps, HVAC systems, including water treatment and other related equipments according to the working instructions and adhering to the usage standards.

Perform routine inspection and maintenance activities to ensure proper functionality of utility systems including conducting regular tests, calibrations, and adjustments.

Identify and troubleshoot any issues or malfunctions in utility systems, promptly addressing them to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted availability of services.

Regularly check and record utility system parameters such as pressure, temperature flow rates, and energy consumption to identify trends and deviations and take appropriate actions.

Carryout autonomous preventive and predictive maintenance according to the work instructions and following the schedules supplied by maintenance planner

Support shift –based team with situational problems that might cause stoppages and problem solving

Monitor, manage and constantly reviewing process performance of utility equipments against target and ensure machine is running at rated speed

Performing housekeeping tasks, applying 5Sprinciples, and following safe work practices, unsafe practices identified and corrected.

Duties and responsibilities as a mechanical technician.

Diagnose malfunctioning machines, components using test equipments and hand tools to locate cause of a breakdown and correct them.

Resolve motor, pump, conveyor, and hydraulic problems.

Troubleshoot and repair problems related to mechanical issues and perform other assigned duties.

Inspect equipment and components under normal running conditions to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.

Conduct preventive, autonomous breakdown and Execute scheduled maintenance activities and record all maintenance activities as per procedure and guidelines.
