Chief of the medical section in senior citizen service – Sharjah/ UAE 2007 - till present

Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, including preventive care, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic conditions.

Develop and implement individualized care plans, coordinating with specialists and healthcare providers as needed in other health settings in addition to hospitals.

Conduct routine check-ups, immunizations, and screenings, ensuring timely and accurate documentation of patient information. Pressure ulcer prevention and treatment. Recently, I applied for a one-year wound care course, Named IIWCC 2024-2025, at Toronto University, to broaden my knowledge and gain Specialist wound care.

Completed rotation in various specialties, including Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Psychiatry, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Cardiothoracic Surgery, and Surgical fields since graduating in 1987. Also, I completed over two years of training in different teaching hospitals in Baghdad (1987-1990).

Over the past two years, I have refined my skills in managing a diverse patient population and excelled in diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions in a rural area in Iraq. Throughout my obstetrics and gynecology diploma training from 1992 to 1994, I managed numerous obstetric and gynecological cases and successfully performed various surgical operations. Subsequently, I pursued additional diploma studies. I then worked as a specialist in Iraq from 1996 to 1999 before relocating to Yemen, where I contributed from 1999 to 2001. I later transitioned to the United Arab Emirates and made significant contributions at Al Rahba Hospital from 2003 to 2006.

I conducted a groundbreaking study on early wound care prevention in 2016, which received an award from Omnia Care. I am currently spearheading a proposal project for diabetic foot care in 2024.

My efforts in 2014 were recognized with a prize for improving patient care, and I received ongoing appreciation from 2020 to 2024 for raising the standard of medical care and health education in the healthcare profession.

Volunteer Experience:

Volunteer as a physician in a social service volunteer center. Provide free medical care to underserved populations during monthly clinics. Participate in health education workshops and preventive care initiatives.

At present, I am carrying out studies on

1-Urinary collecting system and its role in preventing Moisture-associated skin damage and incontinence-associated dermatitis.

2- Early prevention of Diabetic foot peripheral vascular disease proposal in IIWCC 2024-2025, collaborating with our three colleagues
