With over 20 years of dedicated teaching and tutoring experience, I consistently demonstrated commitment to fostering a love for learning through individualized instruction. Contributions include being selected along with three other educators to be a part of the Governor's Task Force on Writing to develop a widely adopted writing curriculum. Passion for education extends beyond the classroom, co-founding a diabetes camp that has grown from 24 to over 300 campers, providing a supportive and enriching environment for children and their families. Recognized as Teacher of the Year in the Issaquah School District in 1992, believing that connection is at the heart of teaching.
