I am a great candidate for this position due to my 30+ years of accounting/consulting experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP, QuickBooks, Sage and various third party packages. Presently, I am looking for a full time position that will utilize my business software knowledge, technology, and accounting expertise. I have been laid off due to a merger with a large corporation. It has been extremely disheartening since I did all the work for the merger, and they eliminated everyone’s position from my department. The positive side, I have acquired an understanding what is expected from an Accountant during a merger, improved my detail oriented awareness, do not need to be micro-managed, and I am sensitive to making deadlines.
