RESUME COVER LETTER

Please consider the following in your consideration of my employment application.

The resume provided attempts to span the 47 years I have been in the mortgage industry. I started as a bookkeeper for a mortgage company subsidiary, where I set up, processed and closed construction loans. I left there to work where I was responsible for loan closings and settled loan packages. While there, I learned to process loans and did that for 14 years. A move we made to Maryland didn’t have a processing positions available, so I became a loan officer. Did that with various companies in Maryland for 30 years.

I retired from my last position in Maryland in 2012. Moved to South Carolina to care for my father with the intent of not working. I took several temporary positions in the first 6 years I was there. In 2020, TD Bank offered me the opportunity to work for them. I did so for 3 years. In 2023, TD experienced a staff cutback and I was a victim of that company decision. In 2023 I moved back to Maryland. Once settled, decided I needed to go back to work. Since my position with was remote, I would like to resume that type of at home position.
