Security Analyst – Create a security design plan to go from the current on prem vulnerability scanning and malware testing architecture to three new data centers co-located throughout the US (FRB DC Modernization effort) Main duties are to learn the current way of doing vulnerability scanning and design a new plan with a tactical and strategic approach. Coordinate and present to numerous stakeholders to get a design approved and implemented. Coordinate with Network and VM Ware teams to build and create all ports and protocols needed to ensure seamless transition 2nd Quarter 2023.

Contract extension additional duties to include:

Creating a road map to correct authentication failures across the enterprise. Analyze 100K IP’s plugins to determine good credential check vs failed credentialed scans. Work with product owners to mitigate the device to achieve a good authenticated scan.

Moving all Tenable.sc scans over to Tenable.io. Daily operational maintenance with Tenable.io, Tenable Nessus Manager and Tenable.sc. Update all Tenable Agents, Tenable Scanners and Tenable Agent Manager with latest software. Work with product owners with Nessus Agents connections.

ACAS Vulnerability Engineer – Managed all ACAS Security Centers and Scanners across the USMC assigned to the MCCOG in Quantico Virginia. Installed HBSS on all scanners, created queries against HBSS data, ensured trusted network list stayed up to date. Setup ACAS asset list, updated customer Repositories and created scheduled scan jobs across the enterprise. Troubleshoot bad scans, repair and rescan jobs and verify needed plugins exists. Provided Linux backend support on all Security Center servers and scanners with local scans, patches and yum updates. Upgrade Nessus and Security Centers software during scheduled outage windows. Implementing plans to install Nessus Manager and agents across the Enterprise. Updated plugins and open IAVM and worked directly with the audit team to ensure all systems stayed compliant. Datacenter Manager and Technical SME for NVS operations- Manage a staff of 11 FSR’s with all day-to-day operations of the 24 X 7 datacenter. Logistics/Depot Manager- Overall responsibility for corporate logistics activities including Repair Depot, Purchasing, Shipping/Receiving and Warehouse facility operations; developed and maintains the corporate ISO9001 procedures and responsible for employee TQM training. I managed the day-to-day operations for our Depot and Warehouse Facilities, this included vendor maintenance contracts, cleaning schedules, security and Quarterly budget goals. It was my responsibility to design, purchase and setup office and lab space throughout 3 warehouses with about 40,000 square feet. Setup was difficult and always changing as new contracts came on board. It was my responsibility to maintain FIFO repair and the most effective and efficient work flow. I had to coordinate phones, IT connections, power requirements and office and lab furniture. I was responsible for purchasing test equipment and maintaining maintenance contracts to minimize downtime and ensure prompt repair and return. My team of 10-20 employees maintained all Warranty and Non-Warranty support for over 15 Federal Contracts. The ARISS Army Recruiting contract alone was over 20,000 laptops. U.S. Census Contract another 8,000 laptops and peripherals. The RAPIDS Army ID Card Contract was 7,000 workstations/servers and 10,000 printers.

Project Manager- Managed the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Social Services IT Support Services contract, a statewide contract. Responsible for technical support centers positioned throughout the Commonwealth to ensure service level agreements were achieved and sustained; developed sparing strategy and inventory reorder points; met with customer staff weekly to ensure customer had accurate, complete information regarding the status of the Commonwealth’s IT equipment and systems. The Customer base for this contract exceeded 1000 users locally and several thousand statewide. I managed a staff of 20 to 30 full time, part time and sub-contractor technicians at various field locations.
