Summary

I am a Realtor at The Real Estate Group in Springfield Illinois. I work on a team with 7 strong like minded women. Teamwork is a big part of my job whether it be with my teammates or my colleagues in general. I have been a buyer and seller’s agent for the past 4 years. I also work in the real estate relocation field with Springfield Clinic. With being self employed I have great self management skills and problem solving abilities. As a Realtor I have had to use my marketing skills and outside sales skills to better myself. In this tough market my negotiating skills and communication skills have definitely become my strongest skills. I am on committees that I have to speak in front of small groups and develop fundraising ideas through the Capital Area Association of Realtors. I have participated and graduated from the Leadership Academy at the Capital Area Association of Realtors. I am now the co chair of that committee and lead several newer Realtors who wish to become leaders in the community and their careers. As a second year Realtor I was awarded the Rising Star Award from my committee. The award is given to those who show enthusiasm in the association and outstanding performance in sales as a newer agent. I previously worked in the accounting field for a multi million dollar catering company. I used my vast knowledge of office skills to help out the company. Those skills include knowledge in Excel and Adobe, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office, Quick Books, answering multi line telephone systems, and working with the public. As well as account receivables and account payables. When needed I helped with inside and outside sales and catering.
