Assigned to the ICIS (Integrated Customer Information System) project. The project encompasses the ETL conversion of multiple Customer Information legacy systems using my Mainframe Cobol skills, into a single integrated Client/Server backbone application, using Oracle8i-12g DB.

Acting as a Database Application Analyst within the ICIS Database/Technical Team my responsibilities include:

Create and maintain Oracle Stored Procedures, Packages, Triggers, Views, Constraints and Functions.

Created PL/SQL Procedures during various Database upgrades.

Created and introduced the company’s first Data Warehouse. Served as the lead of the Data Warehouse Task Force. Worked closely with corporate sponsors to define data elements, establish business rules, create the metadata repository, relational database design, data extraction, cleansing, replication and summarization processes, as well as decision support and replication tool evaluation. Directed implementation of requisite technical solutions.

Additional accomplishments and responsibilities: developed functional specifications for Inbound EDI processing; developed on-line systems using ADW CASE technology; designed application solutions using Microsoft Access, maintained and enhanced the company’s financial and distribution systems.
