My job consists of making a high volume of calls outbound to potential clients of the Customer Funeral Home. We work with 97% of all funeral homes in the United States. My job allows me to contact folks who have had some past relationship with the funeral home or those who inquire from the internet or mail in leads on funeral planning surveys. My job is to probe and set the appointment with the funeral planning guide. Many folks just want info mailed and do not want to meet. It is my job to overcome those objections and get them set. My dials were in the top 4 for over a year meeting company expectations for sales and knocking that out of the water,. I have gained the confidence to make a difference for my team in outstanding sales by making sure to ask probing questions and find out what the customer wanted when they returned the request. We have a matrix of rolling 90 days for meeting monthly goals for each type of call we make. I have consistently hit that marker 6 out of 7 months running. When we have a client or a prospective funeral home come into the office to see what we do. I am always one of the agents they look to as an example of how their clients will be handled and how we can meet their needs. That is a record I am proud of. I have been awarded the Employee of the Month twice in the past year and was nominated for Employee of the Year 2023.
