Plan, develop and direct all social work programs that insure the comprehensive health care plan for Allegiance Behavioral Health Centers of Ruston and Monroe, inpatient and outpatient services at all 4 campuses. Prepare and conduct in-services for 10 CEU hours yearly for social workers and counselors, so they miss less time on the job in pursuit of these hours. Hire, fire, evaluate and supervise therapists at all four campuses. Ensure quality improvement by participating in committees and departmental meetings. Supervise and train interns from La Tech master’s level counseling programs and GSU social work programs, which assist employed therapists and insure a source for future employee pool. Liaison between social service staff and other disciplines such as physicians nursing staff.

Responsible for reviewing and signing off on all assessments completed by other staff members in the Monroe, Winnsboro, and Ruston offices. Provided quality review of client charts, progress notes, treatment plans and diagnoses for all new patients. These were required for payment by the Medicaid health plans.
