Previous Work Experience:
(1) I have worked for the Kauai Bus with the County of Kauai Department of Transportation. Since 2007 March to July 27 2019. I worked as a Commercial sub driver. My job requirements were to pre check the vehicles I was assigned and responsible for, and to drive and perform a variety of different assignments.
My assignments ranged from driving public routes that took me to all over the Island of Kauai picking up and dropping off at designated bus stops on Kauai. I also performed picking up passengers who needed Paratransit assistance some were in wheelchairs to pick up and transport to drop offs. I used the GPS tracking system usually performed on the tablet, that is standard equipment on all Kauai Buses with the County of Kauai. I also drove on routes called Specials that were like charters for a variety of different groups, usually this service was for groups of Senior Citizens.
I enjoyed working with a wide variety of people that taught me how to be of service with a good and positive attitude, and to always be friendly that made it easier for everyone. My working experiences would be useful, and would show that I am a dependable and can be trusted with responsibility.
I got along with my customers, and worked well with my coworkers.
I own both a clean Driver's Abstract and a spotless Driver's history record.

I am proud to say in all the years that I drove I never got into a traffic accident or property damage while driving on the road.
(2) I also worked as a School bus driver starting with Yamaguchi school buses in 2006 and also for Akita school service that I proformed till 2017. I prechecked the bus assigned to me checking engine oil and auto transmission,and brake, and power steering fluids, also checked tires, mirrors, lights,blinkers, flashers and paper work like vehicle registration and no fault insurance card. I transported school kids to school and back home safely when school was in session.
(3) I also worked as a Maintenance repairman for the Kimi hotels from March 1998 at the Maui Seaside and later I transferred to the sister hotel on Kauai at the Kauai Sands hotel in Kapaa from 2000 till March 2006.
I was the troubleshooter who was responsible to resolve work orders that were dispatched. I performed repair work on electrical and plumbing, carpentry, masonry work, also repaired appliances such as air conditioners, televisions, lamps, ceiling fans, sliding screen doors and windows, solid doors and locks and dead bolts. I fabricated and hung new heavy doors from cutting to fit than boring, and chiseling for new locks and hinges.
I also cleaned and balanced the two swimming pools on the property.
I was responsible for the trouble calls phoned in from staff and guests to resolve what ever problems came up.
LICENCE and ENDOREMENTS:
(4) I currently have a legal CDL type A driver's license and a current up to date PUC medcal card,with endorsements to drive a tractor trailer over 26,000 pounds, with also endorsements for double trailers, and tankers. I also have endorsements to drive a school bus with a P endorsement to transport passengers. I also had a X endorsement that expired that I am currently scheduled to renew and restore the Hazmat endosement to my CDL license. I also have a clean driver's abstract and a spotless driver's record history. I also have certifications from Kauai Community College In classes I completed there in small engine repair and basic carpentry and electrical repair. I also took classes in Solar voltaics installation and repair. I also took a class in the Electronics field there, also took and completed the welding class.
I also have a Twic card. I also have experience driving tanker pump trucks. I also have experience operating Heavy equipment, such as backhoes, mini excavator,988 cat front loader, bobcat, fork lifts, power handtools.I have an accident free record showing on my Federral clearing house account.
SPECIAL INTEREST:
(5) I have hobby interests as a wood worker, from my shop that I built and own. I enjoy creating beautiful pieces of wood craft. I turn wood on my lath and create wood bowls, and platters,& bracelets. I also have carving tools that enable me to create many different forms of Art from wood. I also enjoy doing small carpentry projects. I like working with plants and creating beautiful landscapes. I like going out on my Boat or my Harley when the weather is nice. I am a devoted Husband and Father. I do not smoke or take drugs or booze. I try to live a clean Healthy Lifestyle. I enjoy caring for our three dogs and three cats that brings us much happiness and enjoyment.
