Ministry of Food and Agriculture [MAG Project], Accra, Ghana September 2019 – September 2020 The Ministry of Food and Agriculture is a Ghana government ministry responsible for promoting food security and agricultural development since its establishment in 1957. The Ministry of Food and Agriculture has collaborated with the Canadian government on a number of initiatives to promote food security and agricultural development in Ghana. One such initiative is the Modernizing Agriculture in Ghana (MAG) project, which is funded by the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) and implemented by Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) with the aims to improve the livelihoods of smallholder farmers and increase productivity through the introduction of innovative technologies and practices.

• I was part of the team that worked to improve the yields of farmers over 30% through new technologies and training with the aim of environmental sustainability by promoting the use of sustainable practices, such as organic farming and water conservation

• I led and worked closely with the sales team to analyze our sales data, identified areas for improvement, and implemented strategies to boost our sales performance. We used a variety of techniques, including targeted marketing, customer relationships management and sales training. The result was a significant increase in sales revenue as the highest in 2013 and a stronger relationship with our customers.

• I created a new import purchase template using Microsoft Excel, which streamlined the purchases and sales transactions and reduced errors.
