EXP.DETAILS: - SYNOPSIS

ALL ZUBAIR IPF (Initial Production Facilities) SITES: -

Worked as Rotating coordinator in Zubair, Iraq project for Initial production facilities and power generation of stations. Units’ production crude oil and facility of storage oil in tanks. As I handled 9 sites Three IPF, two Mishrif including related DGS (degassing stations) and power. Overview of plant is oil production in one day million barrels of crude. There were 15 people in my team who worked under my supervision, 5 engineers and 10 technicians. My job was to prepare the daily feedback report, provide material to my engineers with support of procurement department for the plant maintenance, I would talk directly to the client related any troubleshoot related concerned related to any break down and maintenance.

Gas Turbines Generator (GTG): -

Frame 5 b, 6 B and 6FA e+ Gas Turbine Generator (GTG) maintenance equipment installation and interface alignment shall be as follows:

(1) Load Gear

(2) Turbine

(3) Generator

Borescope inspections (Model: - Vucam XO) Gas turbine incorporates provisions in both turbine and compressor casings for visual inspection of an intermediate compressor rotor 0th to 17th stage and stator or 1st, 2nd and 3rd stage of turbine buckets and 1st, 2nd and 3rd stage of nozzle trailing edge by the optical borescope.

E class and B class gas turbine shell inspection.

F-Class Gas Turbine Compressor Washing

Liquid Washing Recommendations for Gas Turbines with Pulsed Water Wash Systems.

Scheduled maintenance of GTG is Combustions inspection, HGPI (Hot gas path inspection), MI (Major inspection) takes out Transition Pieces. Combustion casing, flow sleeve, combustion liners and crossfire Tubes. Rotating Clips Combustion, Cans cover, fuel nozzle assembly. Flame Detector spark plug, shell cooling Air piping Exhaust Plenum. Inlet plenum flexes seal.

Heavy duty gas turbine 3 days training session attended of GTG 6B control and maintenance with BAKER HUGHES a GE, Italian.

Pumps: -Centrifugal, Reciprocating / Rotary

Over hauling of centrifugal pumps of single and multi-stage including activities like replacing shaft, impeller, wear rings, bearings, mechanical seals/ gland packing

1)Reconditioning and installation of all types of mechanical.

2)Lapping seal-faces to optical flatness.

3)Triplex, Meeting, Slide Vane, Gear Pump, diaphragm.

Compressors (Centrifugal, Reciprocating / Rotary and reciprocating): -

Overhauling of multi stage centrifugal compressors including activities like rotor replacement, renewal of Labyrinths, bearings, oil filter seals, centering of rotor and other auxiliary activities in seal oil & lube oil system.

Replacement of piston liner, piston, piston rings & shoes, oil scraper rings, stuffing box packing replaced.

I have good practical knowledge about all types of ball bearings and their installation. Bearing clearance and crosshead bearing clearance checked very well, compressor. Suction & delivery (loading and unloading) valves. Crank shaft deflection, bumping clearance & maintenance.

Steam turbines: -

Rotor, bearings, carbon packing& labyrinth seal checking, adjustment trip system in turbines of horizontal and vertical mountings. Servicing overhaul steam inlet HP, MP and LP Valves and Over speed setting. Experience to take all vibration reading related to machine

Valve Section: - Activity Carried out: -

I have good analytical skills with detailed knowledge of craft practices and procedures pertaining to process safety relief valves and process valves and experience to work with team and independently. knowledge of craft practices and procedures .Knowledge of Maintenance and Operating procedures pertaining to relief valves, process valves and mechanical actuators (Auma Rotork )

Able to understand Technical Drawings, reading, writing with good communication skills in English

Expert in measuring skills for all industrial precision measuring tools like Vernier caliper, Micrometers and Depth gauge etc.

I have good practical experience in testing and calibration of all kind of relief valves and breather valves using test rigs.

1)Dismantling and cleaning of the valves.

2)Lapping valve seat and disc.

3)Gland nipping and replacement.

4)Assembly and Hydro test or setting to the set pressure.

5)Lapping paste use for lapping of 12-6-3 microns.

Gear Box: -

Changing of gears, oil seals and measuring bearing clearances and backlash of reducing and increasing gear boxes such as spur, worm and worm wheel, bevel spiral bevel, helical gears used in refinery and power. Capacity 246 KW, type is step down, outdoor unit.

HRSG (Heat recovery steam generator): -

Rated capacity of the HRSG at the base load of GT is 110 TPH at HP super heater outlet pressure of 98 bar (a) and temperature of 538 5 C and LP steam 15 TPH at LPSHTR outlet pressure of 9 bar (a) and temperature of 275 5 C.
