1. Tackled a significant Delay Problem Delay Problem; established a weekly critical path checklist to detect and prevent equipment failures. Result: saved the company thousands of dollars monthly in reduced delay time. 2. Solved a roll bearing life problem; the mill was not getting normal bearing life, re-constructed the water spray headers and significantly improved roll bearing life. The results were: less delays and a big reduction in bearing purchases.
3. Made significant improvements in the roll bite header by changing the entry angle of the strip at F2. The result was greatly increased removal of scale an improved product quality. Mill Supervisor
