2018- 2020/Jan. (Detailed) as Director Mental Health Division to Re-align and conduct a system redesign of all mental health services. The master organizational chart was restructured and I was charged with restructuring Mental Health into a Directorate. The task was accomplished as well as developing new MCM’s, SOP’s programing both for the Acute In-patient unit the new Bridge program (which replaced MICIH and PRRC programs. Re-aligned the Service from three divisions to five divisions to meet the changing needs of the population served.
2016- 2020/Dec. Associate Chief of Staff for Mental Health at Tomah VA Medical Center. The office is responsible for all mental health services provided by the service on main campus and at the CBOC’s in Lacrosse, Wisconsin Rapids, Wausau, Owen (River Valley) and the Tomah VA MH Clinic. The service also provide coverage for mental health issues that present at Urgent Care on campus. The position provides oversite and clinical supervision for the psychiatry residency program of the UW School of Medicine at Wausau.
2010- 2016 Chief of Psychiatry Services VA Battle Creek Medical Center
Supervised and had oversight of the delivery of Mental Health services to In-patient MH Units, Urgent Care, The four CBOC’s ( Grand Rapids, Benton Harbor, Lansing and Muskegon). I also supervise the three clinicians providing services for Compensation and Pension evaluations as well as provide clinical supervision for all of the PA’s and Psychiatrists providing services to the Residential Units ( RRTP/PCT, Domiciliary and SARRTP). Site Director for the MSU training program for 3rd and 4th year medical students and the Psychiatric Residents from Western Mich. Univ. Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine.
2009- 2010 Clinical Supervisor In-patient Mental Health VA Battle Creek Medical Center. I provided clinical supervision for all of the Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Physician Assistants and Social workers providing services on all of the In-patient MH units at Battle Creek Medical Center.
