2016 - Assisted Facilities Plan Co. with the move of Photo Research facilities from Los Angeles, CA to Syracuse, NY
2017 – 2019 - Assisted Virginia Artesian Co bottled water plant with multiple fluid flow issues, saving them over $600,000. I am currently a consultant for them.
2020 - Assisted Facilities Plan Co. in explaining to a foreign government the methods of monitoring the oil leaving and entering their country.
2023 - Assisted Facilities Plan Co. in obtaining a contract with a Taiwanese pharmaceutical company in planning the expansion of their facilities in their cramped site. This was not successful. 2022 – 2023 Assisted Restrict Flow Co. with their product applications. I have provided pressure drop and flow calculations for orifice plates in various situations. In general, I have also provided them an insight into plant operations, and where their product could be used. 02/2024-

I also provided supervision and support for younger national process engineers.

11/1999-10/2001 Construction Engineering Coordinator - Jose, VZ. - Developed the resolution of engineering questions, MOCs, and PSSRs, for the Crude Unit, Naphtha Unit, Sulfur Recovery Unit, and Amine Treating Units. I was in the Caracas airport when the 9/11 attack occurred in the States.

05/1997 Project Engineer - Houston TX - Verified the Basic Engineering Design and developed the Stage 1, 3-D modeling for the Naphtha Hydrotreater, Sulfur Recovery Unit, Amine Treating Units, Utilities, and OSBL Units.
01/1994-01/1996 Baytown Area Project Management(BAPM), EXXON, Baytown, TX, Systems Manager - Responsible for both the Mechanical and Process Engineering efforts for the detailed engineering phase of projects in the Propylene, Polyethylene, and Bromobutyl Rubber facilities.
04/1992-12/1993 - Hydrocracker/Hydrodewaxer Project, Conoco, Lake Charles, LA, Systems Manager - Responsible for both the Mechanical and Process Engineering efforts for the Light Hydrocracking and Hydrotreating of Lube Oils Upgrade Project. This was completed on schedule with the major equipment delivered per the planned schedule.
09/1991 – 03/1992 NESHAP Environmental Regulation Compliance, Amoco, Texas City, TX, Project Engineer - I was responsible for project completion, and closeout for the scope of work previously completed as a Senior Process Engineer. Senior Process Engineer - In this position, I provided guidance and assistance to develop an Amoco corporate-wide design basis to meet the NESHAP regulations.
01/1989-08/1991 Air Products Inc., Senior Process Engineer – Received the company-wide Air Products Annual Technology Award for two years straight. In addition, I led an effort that resulted in a hydrogenation reactor production rate increase in excess of 25% and subsequently attained two new monthly production rate records.
1980-1988 POE, VORCO, Wilco Oil Co, For each of the following facilities, I hired and trained its operational staff and developed safety, quality, and operational procedures which included start-up, shutdown, and operational adjustment to keep the products within their required specifications.
09/1987 – 12/1988 Wilco Oil Co, Consultant - I contracted to upgrade the Albany Crude Oil Facilities so it was operational.
08/1984 – 08/1987 -Virginia Oil and Refining Company (VORCO) – Partner - I was responsible for the successful operation of the facility.
04/1980 – 07/1984 - Primary Oil and Energy Inc. (POE) – Plant Manager - I designed/installed the peripheral facilities to support the processing unit.
09/1976-03/1980 Allied Corporation, Production Engineer: Oleum (800 TPD), Adipic Acid (84 kPPD), Ammonium Sulfate (3,200 TPD) Support supervision and provide engineering input.
10/1973-08/1976 Babcock & Wilcox, Project Engineer: Executed small in-plant projects from $5,000 to $100,000, design, implementation, and turnover.
